Have you tried the vdr plugin to freevo?
Sure - I've adopted it to use it :-)
Anyway the scenario is the following:
After system start the user gets the vdr screen through the em84xx (a
successor of the dxr3) output of a siemens activy.
During that time freevo starts in the background. When I switch from VDR
to FreeVo I use a hotkey via an irexec command.
So what I need is to start a plugin in Freevo wihout user interaction (
like vdr's svdrp interface ).
The other solution is to fake lirc keys so that this plugin will be
started. But I do not like this idea.
What I have to do when the hotkey is pressed is :
- stopping a running plugin ( if anyone is active )
- activate the sleep plugin ( which does nothing else then wait for bein
activated again ).
