The problem is that the window manager gets the keys. So when xine
comes up, xine has the focus and gets the keys. Freevo is out of the
loop. Starting freevo -fs starts freevo as window manager, so every
key goes to freevo and not xine.
So if you can't start a second X (I don't know why) you need to start
your first X with freevo as wm or it won't work.

Same story with mplayer.
Unfortunately for some reason even using 'freevo -fs' doesn't work.
