I understand, but I'm using flac files, not mp3 or ogg.  Simply because I'm one of those people who _can_ hear the difference between mp3/ogg and lossless quality ;-)

Won't it be possible to build some kind of playlist for live albums, and let Freevo pass the playlist file to mplayer to play the files gapless?

At least for those files for which it is technically possible.  IIRC
it's not possible with mp3 because frames are padded to fixed sizes.   I
think it is with ogg however.
