hehe.. a bit behind on your email?  Thanks for getting back to me
though!  Actually, I did all that the wiki indicated -- using the
--prefix, etc., with no luck so I basically gave up for the time being.

I did notice that my favorite linux distro now has freevo 2.0 has a
installable package so I think its almost time for me to re-install my
HTPC and install Arch Linux.  I should be able to install/uninstall as I
need to fairly easily. For those experienced Linux users --
www.archlinux.org -- one of the best out there in my humble opinion.
