[Freevo-users] Volume control not working in freevo

When I try to use the m/n or ± keys to change the volume, nothing happens.  The volume doesn't change, nor does any display change (Is there supposed to be an osd?).  I can change it within mplayer, using mplayers keys (/ , *), but can't change at all for music or games.
What could be going wrong?
