I use multiple (2) HDTV tuners with one for viewing-only and one for recording-only. I am not sure if your PVR-500 gizmo is analogue or digital. If it is digital i can help you and you can feel free to contact me off list. If it is analogue, then there are definitely web pages with instructions for what you want.
As long as you dont want to record with both tuners it is doable. -Stygen On Thu, 2006-10-05 at 09:52 -0300, Rob Shortt wrote: > Duncan Webb wrote: > > Hi all, > > Hi, > > > > Trotted off today to get one of those Hauppauge PVR-500 with two tuners. > > What I would like to do is make the appropriate modifications to freevo > > so that people can watch TV and record at the same time. > > > > I hope that this can be in the next freevo release, planned for the end > > of this month.
