There are a few with non-ascii characters in the webserver. The reason I
made this a release candidate instead of a release it that the core
media library has change from mmpython to kaa.metadata. But it is
looking stable. I would only expect to find new bugs in the new features.
Yes, indeed I can't see the tv guide in the webserver because an error about
utf characters not beeing correctly converted by the ascii engine, but I
thought it was my locale configuration.
In fact, I have problems with certain rss feeds that generate a similar
error when freevo tries to download them ('El Mundo', '
http://rss.elmundo.es/rss/descarga.htm?data2=4').
What I would suggest that you do is to grab a copy from svn and install
this. At the moment it has not been installed and sometimes this seems
to cause problems.
See http://freevo.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/doc/Contributing for how to
install to a different location, the docs say freevo2 but it applied to
freevo1 too.
I've never done that and I haven't configured svn. I'll try on Monday.
