I'm using the i810 driver for video on my laptop and I want to install freevo on it but before I do I want to have the tv output setup properly. Presently I have two desktops (one on the laptop's lcd and one on the tv). The desktop on the tv has black bars on the sides, top , bottom. and they don't go away when I play fullscreen video with mplayer. I've read about solving this with overscan but it only seemes to apply to nvidia cards because if I include the overscan option in my xorg.conf the xorg log says that that option is not applicable to the i810 driver. :-(
