I didn't get that problem solved, tried some fiddles and then went back to the
perl one.
The perl one just installs on debian, but I couldn't get all the modules
sorted out on gentoo (which was one reason I went back to a debian install)
The perl one doesn't deal properly with daylight saving on my install, so I
have two versions, for summer and winter.
It's going to be worthwhile to get the python module running properly, but I
was time wasting tonight on a new patched kernel to run a certain cx88 card.
