Hi all,

My EPG provider recently updated their service to include additional
information such as 'year of production', 'Last air date', director and
actor information. This has caused problems where there has been no data
inside <date></date> (for example), and it fails to show this program in
the freevo (1.5.4) epg. Programs with <date>1996</date> show up in the
epg. Is there an easy way around this?

Example of a failing EPG entry;

         <programme start="20070215170000 +0000" stop="20070215180000 +0000"
channel="24">
                  <title lang="en">Spyforce</title>
                  <sub-title lang="en">Reilley&apos;s Army</sub-title>
                  <desc lang="en">War is best left to the professionals.
Erskine and Haber must go to New Guinea to locate and bring back Reilly,
who&apos;s unfortunate enthusiasm for fighting his own personal war is
endangering
   the coastwatchers. Jack Thompson, Katy Child, Redmond Phillips, Peter
Sumner, Nick Tate</desc>
                  <date></date>
                  <category lang="en">Action</category>
                  <category lang="en">Drama</category>
                  <episode-num system="icetv">2394037</episode-num>
                  <previously-shown/>
                  <rating system="">
                          <value>PG</value>
                  </rating>
          </programme>

If I remove the line with <date></date> or put any text betwen the <date>
and the </date> then it works fine.

Any assistance appreciated.
