Hi Bastian! Thanks for the suggestion. I had some time to experiment this afternoon when the kids were napping, and here's what I found I needed to do (for the reference of any others with similar problems):
In local_conf.py , I needed to un-comment the XINE_* configuration statements as needed (command and args). There does not seem to be defaults like the MPLAYER_* ones. Add to local_conf.py plugin.remove('video.mplayer') plugin.activate('video.xine') Hope that helps someone! Hopefully Ubuntu will fix their mplayer packages sometime soon... There's a few mplayer-dependent projects filing bugs on the Feisty packages. /Mike -----Original Message----- From: Bastian Farkas try putting something like "plugin.disable(video.xine)" in your config. the correct syntax should be guessable by seeing the other plugin statements. :) On Sat, 2007-04-21 at 11:25 -0400, Michael Brown wrote: > Hi Folks! > > I just upgraded to Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 and Freevo 1.7.0.
