OS: Xubuntu, feisty Fawn, Python 2.5, Freevo 1.7.1

  Freevo, build from source, using the latest downloads.

TV_RECORD_DIR = '/media/video' This is a samba share, physically on a server.

  The freevo user has r/w access on it.

If i push "e" from the GUI and then choose "create pictogram", apparantely something is happening. Shutting down freevo shows some action in ./freevo/vfs.... creating a file with .raw extension. The .raw extension is to small to contain any picture info. There is also a message appearing "No imagefile found"

  Currently using the "rain" theme, but already tried a few others.

I've been using debug and started up freevo with the -trace parameter, but these don't give me any clue.

  I suspect either a bug or something simple I have overlooked.

  Anybody has a idea?
