Can someone eleborate why use the event interface over lircd?
(not judging, just curious what the benefits are ;)

for TV guide at least you want this:

EVENTS['menu']['GUIDE'] = Event(MENU_GOTO_TVGUIDE)

and from greping I guess the radio is:

EVENTS['menu']['RADIO'] = Event(MENU_GOTO_RADIO)
