Thanks for the quick reply! I have not installed a svn version of
kaa-metadata. But just for the fun of it i will re-compile it and see if
it makes a difference. This is part of the output when running "mminfo -d
2 /dev/dvd".

So it seems that mminfo gets the correct info from the dvd, the same
applies to audio cds. Any other ideas?
