That's backwards, xmltv now (or will soon?) uses Schedules Direct for NA data. Of course, Freevo 1 can use Schedules Direct data through xmltv, but that has nothing to do with kaa.epg, and hence nothing to do with Freevo 2. kaa.epg supports Schedules Direct natively, which means there is no need to use xmltv if you're using SD as your guide source. We're interested in adding other native sources to kaa.epg as well. xmltv has some annoyances, and I'm always happy to completely bypass it if I can.
