Hi Duncan, you know what? I re-emerged Freevo-1.7.3 and now part of this problem has gone. I can't explain how, but it must have been a mixup of messed up settings in my local_conf.py (btw, it's really hard to keep that file consistent). Since I did not use Freevo for some time and now I'm trying to get the most of it again, I stumbled across other problems I'll report in new threads.
