Probably when (if?) Freevo 1.x uses kaa.notifier it should improve this. Duncan? Freevo 2.x should be better. But we haven't done any profiling on this, save for a bit here and there. I'm mindful of needless wakes and we do plan on looking at this more closely for 2.x when the time comes.
