Simply put the record dir in VIDEO_ITEMS, that's the way I did it ;-)

I think it would be very cool to be able to do this with all plugins,
that way you could also make it a main menu item, and remove the
"watch tv" item on systems without a TV tuner :-)

Being able to put things where you'd like to have them, is yet again a
