Between 1.6.0 and 1.7.4 yes.

The data was being pulled from www.msnbc.com but it did go down and then
was moved to www.tpfans.com but this seems to have gone down too. May be
www.msnbc.com is available to you, in which case move line 326 to 328.

If you can find another server that is providing the feed data as a
visual basic object.

PS you can search through the plug-in for another weather plug-in
freevo plugins -l | grep -i weather
But keep this one under your hat.
