I find that turning off ARCH_X86_64 a bit strange for a 64 bit
processor. Or may be the Sempron hasn't the Athlon 64 registers.

I wonder if you are actually getting a 64 bit version of pygoom.

I also wonder how much CPU pygoom/goom is using.
