I knew there would be a 'normal' explanation :-)
The fact is that on my remote (the PVR-150/350 remote), the CH+ is also 
mapped on the key >>|  and the Ch- is also Mapped on |<<
so if you depress the key >> you go 10 second forward, and if you press 
the key >>| (just below, on the right of the remote), you select the 
song before (ie, you go backward on the CD) :-)
