Hi all,
we talked about Piren a few times in the past, so I think that can be of
some interest for the list the announce of latest Piren release, version 8.2.
>From the Piren web-site:
Piren is a Debian based live distribution, with Freevo as the main user
interface. It's suitable for building an Home Theatre, or a firewall
system that is also your Media Centre, or to add HTPC features to your
home-server that is always running and your wife keeps asking you why.
It can boot from CD, but you can also install Piren on your HDD, USB
stick or small size flash memory.
In this release I tried to implement suggestions received from other
users and to improve the information (and documentation) found on the
web-site.
Please refer to http:/www.piren.org/ for more details.
Kind regards,
