For your installation: svn info --revision=BASE For the latest in subversion: svn info --revision=HEAD > I've just run into a problem with special characters since I moved from > 1.7.3 to SVN. > > To recap the main points: > > Streamed song titles with an apostrophe/single-quote in them are > truncated. When you say streamed songs, do you mean from a network stream or from a file on the disk? It is a file on the disc then it should work without a problem, just tested this against music files with spaces in the artist directory and album directory. > At least one of my data DVDs full of AVIs is not accessible because of > spaces in the folder name. Can you run freevo with DEBUG_CHILDAPP (or CHILDAPP_DEBUG) set and see what freevo is executing when a thumbnail is being generated? This could be a possible problem, I've not tried this with spaces in the path. Spaces in file names is not recommended for Linux, using an underscore is better (freevo translates these to spaces). Commands like "find | xargs" don't like spaces. > Most recently, the file-info box that pops up on the web interface has > been hanging because of TV shows with apostrophes in the episode name. > It took me a while to figure that one out, but now I'm sure of it. It could be a problem with the web interface, the urllib.quote call is sometimes missing.
