I can but I'm using Dag Wieers apache proxy stuff http://dag.wieers.com/howto/ssh-http-tunneling/ It seems okay to me, I've just done a: svn list svn://svn.freevo.org/freevo/branches/rel-1/freevo It worked fine. It is possible that there was a server or DNS problem.
