Hi all, I'm doing a bit of work on skins and have come across a strange behaviour. Take the info skin as an example. In the music section you can press 'd' to toggle between two different views - listing and audio list. The strange behaviour comes in to play once you enter sub menus depending on how they are structured. Take these two folder stuctures:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mp3]# ls -lh AC-DC\ -\ Back\ in\ Black/ total 60M -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7.1M Jan 19 16:23 AC-DC - Back In Black - 01 - Hells Bells.mp3* -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7.9M Mar 21 2007 AC-DC - Back In Black - 02 - Shoot To Thrill.mp3* ..... -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 12K Apr 1 2007 cover.jpg* [EMAIL PROTECTED] mp3]# ls -lh Amy\ Winehouse\ -\ Back\ to\ black\ Retail/ total 80K drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 16K Apr 9 2007 Amy Winehouse - Back to black Retail/ -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 35K Mar 6 21:03 cover.jpg* [EMAIL PROTECTED] mp3]# ls -lh Amy\ Winehouse\ -\ Back\ to\ black\ Retail/Amy\ Winehouse\ -\ Back\ to\ black\ Retail/ total 81M -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 8.3M Apr 1 2007 01 Rehab.mp3* -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 9.9M Apr 1 2007 02 You Know I'm No Good.mp3* -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 5.9M Apr 1 2007 03 Me & Mr Jones.mp3* So AC/DC has no subfolder, Amy Winehouse has a subfolder. Now if I browse to these with the audio list view when you enter the first Amy Winehouse folder you aren't shown the subfolder but instead get shown the track list immediately in the listing view. If I browse the AC/DC folder I get the folder displayed in the audio list view. Now I'm not really concerned as to why freevo automatically displays the contents of the subfolder in the Amy Winehouse directory without showing me the directory itself (I assume it's because it's the only subfolder and maybe because there are no audio tracks in the parent folder). What I am puzzled by is why one is shown with the default listing view and the other with the audio list view. Basically when it's shown with the audio list view you don't see the track names, instead every track gets it's own icon of the album cover which makes it fairly useless. If anyone has any suggestions (apart from making subfolders in every folder) I'd really appreciate it.
