In 1.8 it should be possible. I guess there is one big simple patch
needed:
1. Spot all plugins that need poll (check for poll-intervall)
2. Register a kaa.Timer in that plugin to poll how often the plugin
needs it.
3. Register a 0.1 poll to sdl if keyboard input is needed
4. Remove the global poll
