The python-xml files are temporarily in site-packages/oldxml but I don't know the best way to point to them without changing the code of Freevo. Maybe you could symlink the new directory to the old location or use an environment variable like PYTHON_PATH
It seems that python should use another implementation of XML at least in the 1.8.x series.
