I had good success with 1.8.0. The only significant problems that I've encountered are:

- freevo cache seems to sometimes miss videos in a directory. I haven't done any troubleshooting so I haven't gone any further on this yet, but it's not something obvious as they will appear sometimes if I move them to a different directory.

- Problem mentioned before with the Wiimote, presumably fixed. Something to keep in mind for the future is that it's really easy to make a wiimote behave as a mouse with wminput, and freevo with a true point and click interface would be awesome!

I also wouldn't be surprised if others are like me and playing around with the new Mythbuntu release. While not perfect, it does have a few things which might be useful in freevo, such as:

- MythMusic has a much better UI, and actually works for more than just MP3's (ogg, m4a, etc).

- It's IMDB script seems to be working much better, and there are scripts online which use tvrage.com for TV which also seems better than what Freevo currently uses. I imagine it's one of the easier things to import into freevo if desired.

- MythWeb is not really any better / worse than Freevo's web plugin, except that it lets you do IMDB lookups through it. It works pretty well, and doing a bunch of lookups from something other than the TV frontend is very nice.
