By the way, I can't check it now, but I think freevo package has been removed from Hardy (I can't find it in packages.ubuntu.com <http://packages.ubuntu.com>, but it do appears in 'intrepid'). Can someone confirm this?

I can confirm it, indeed freevo is no longer available for install through the regular ubuntu channels
