That's what I'd done. I'd actually did
rm -rf kaa/display/build
rm -rf /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/kaa/display/
python setup.py clean
python setup.py install

But no joy. Did the same for imlib2 and then did display but that didn't 
help. I'll have a look again tonight.
