AFAICT it is not that easy to fix the plug-in as last.fm changed the authorisation method and it requires a browser to log in. To make matters worse you only have 30 tracks to play before you need to start paying. So it has been dropped from SVN. BTW please start a new message rather than reply to an existing message.
