I'm sure the website doesn't say there's a Windows executable. In fact 
it's fairly clear that Windows support is 'limited' to say the least.

We'd love to hear from someone trying this all out on Windows. If you're 
not interested in the work with python that would take your other option 
is to download a live CD version of freevo and run it in a virtual machine.
