A quick fix for this would be to change the /etc/hosts file so that the host name of computer didn't resolve to 127.0.0.1 but to the IP address of the network interface that is used to talk to the HDHomeRun. That will mean freevo can work out what IP address to tell the HDHomeRun to send the packets to.
