I'd be interested in hearing your story. I tried the same thing and botched my installation. Something along the lines of latest freevo (git) requiring newer kaa stuff (undocumented which commit was required) and I had to upgrade all kaa libs. Somehow all of that broke the installation and since not even the vanilla 1.9.0 release has documented dependencies to kaa _versions_ I was unable to go back. I'm now trying to get to along with xbmc. We'll see what happens...
I've poked the list and maintainers a number of times for creating a release of freevo+kaa so distributions etc has something to package. No response above "git works fine". :-( If you can make public which versions and commits of all the dependencies you use, that would certainly be helpful as a starting point for others (I might decide xbmc is not my thing, and try to go back :) ) -Anders ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
