Hi Ben,

I get into a problem like recently, which i describe as follows :

- Sendmail was working just fine
- I added an alias to /etc/aliases
- executed newaliases
- sendmail start failing
- Log messages said:
  /etc/aliases.db out of date (??)
- Anyway, after trying LOT of different solutions, including restoring
(backup) the original /etc/aliases.db, but sendmail didnt work.
- Finally i decided to go the HARD way, and i disabled the use of aliases
for that vs (commented /etc/sendmail.cf line "O AliasFile=/etc/aliases")
- Then sendmail got back to work without problems.

Yes it sound VERY strange, but thats the way sendmail is running in
that vs, and right now i'm trying to solve that mistery...

Regards,
