Hi,

I recently got VSDClient and VSDWebAdmin installed and working. I have noticed a
couple quirky issues I am hoping someone has experienced.

I have found two main issues one has to do with listing or modifying users and the
other has to do with modifying the virtual hosts.

Issue #1

When I use the Windows client and connect to the virtual servers with no problem. On
most of the servers, I don't get any errors, however, when I try to connect to a
server that has several users, I get the following error in the log: -ERR Unexpectedly
terminated
which I think means that vsd is crashing. I thought this might be a problem in the
passwd file. Initially, I had two accounts that were producing the error, however,
when I compared the password files, I deleted a user who no longer existed. When I
reloaded the user listing, it came up. I started deleting users from the other
password file and it eventually worked. I thought it might have to do with the
structure of the entry, but when I started adding or deleting certain users, it had no
effect.

When I use the Web Admin, I can view the user list for all of the servers but I can
only modify users on accounts with short user lists. I have determined that the you
can have 12 users in addition to the admin, web, mail, ftp accounts and any of the low
userid accounts.

Issue #2

In both the Web Client and VSD Client, the Virtual Host listing does not list all of
the Virtual hosts. I run Apache in /usr/local/etc/httpd so I had to create links to
the httpd binary and httpd.conf. When I changed those, it recognized the new file, but
it does not list the Virtual Hosts. The only one listed is the _default_:443. I am
using name based virtual hosts with the IP in the Virutal Host directive. <VIRTUAL
HOST 1.2.3.4>
Does anyone know how to get these to report correctly?

Take care,

Paul
