Subject: I have installed MySQL before freeVSD!!

I have installed MySQL before of freeVSD for to try to resolve the my
problem: that after installing MySQL, following the faq.txt indication
(and put "YES" on right place), on RedHat 6.2 + freeVSD fresh
installation, when i try to use it I recive this error:
#> mysqladmin version
mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket:
'/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' exists!

and infact in /var/lib/ there isn't the mysql directory!

After some trys i have thought that if I'll install MySQL on a fresh
RedHat 6.2, like apache server I have thought, and only after install
freeVSD than in the skel, and after also in the virtual servers, there
will be the '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' and more generally all
/var/lib/mysql directory! In have tryed but the results aren't like the
aspectations: the error is like before!

So now I have another problem: Is a problem install MySQL before of
freeVSD?
In the documentation there is a suggestion of a possible instability of
the system if freeVSD isn't installed on fresh RedHat install.

Sorry for my english,

Thanks,

Ludovico
