RH7 support is still regarded as being in its early stages and 2.4 kernels
are not officially supported for freeVSD. We intend to concentrate on RH7.1
for freeVSD after the next release (mid-May). As RH7.1 ships with the 2.4
kernel as standard we hope to be able to utilise some features
(iptables/process capabilities) to resolve some of the problems (ie port
redirection) presented by the 2.2 kernel. While we would continue to produce
RH6.2 release for freeVSD I anticipate that our development efforts would be
focused on the RH7.1 releases. This being the proposal I would be interested
to hear people's thoughts on the merits of this direction.
