FreeVSD Proxy

Hello people,

I've heard that work is currently under way on a proxy for freeVSD. 
What exactly will this do?

Am I correct in thinking that it'll let you administer freeVSD on
multiple host servers as if they were one?  Just hungry for info!  :-)
