If you do not mind, would it be possible for you to give me a few pointers
to setup the FrontPage extensions and Webmin for freeVSD?
Presently, I am running Apache 1.3.19 (custom version) which I built on RH
6.2. I have looked through many apache-fp RPMS and have attempted to build
my own for freeVSD but it does not seem to work. I have the following lines
(relevant to FP) in my spec file:
Patch8: mod_frontpage-1.5.1.patch
%patch8 -p1 -b .fp
--activate-module=src/modules/frontpage/mod_frontpage.o \
--enable-shared=frontpage \
--fpexec-docroot=%{contentdir}/html \
--fpexec-caller=nobody
%attr(4711,root,root) %{_sbindir}/fpexec
Is there anything I left out or needs to be changed? Please advise. Also,
would you mind providing me with the modifications that you made to /etc/rc
to create the suidkey file, please?

I can, I've frontpage successful running with no problem, and also have a
RPM for this to working properly. Please forgive my bad english first.
My RPM is install as addon package for freevsd, and have some modification
to /etc/rc on VS to create the suidkey file. I'm running Apache-1.3.19 with
mod_frontpage 1.5.1, can create sub-web without any problem. If you want
all the information, you can email me and tell me how to add it to your
FAQ.
I also have Webmin and minivend 4.0 running without any problem and also
have RPM for each too. If you want this information too, I can also prepare
it for you.
Please tell how can I upload file to FREEVSD.ORG ftp server.
