Hello,

The official statement from the man doing the porting is that I am
having troubles applying the freevsd patch to the version of glibc
supplied with RH 7.1. Without this patched glibc the skel generated
causes all sorts of problems with the virtual servers (for one, the
prompt says the name of the hosting server and not that of the virtual
server). This is at the top of my to-do list, and would hope to have a
fix for the early part of next week.

However, compiling the source on a RH 7.1 box, and using a pre-generated
RH 6.2 skel seems to work fine, its just that you end up with RH 6.2
virtual servers. Is this acceptable? The only other thing with this
approach is that iptables support is not in the freevsd 1.4.8 code. If
you wish to utilise iptables, you would need to disable vsd-redirect for
each virtual server and manually configure the rules for each vs.

I shall be announcing the availablity of the RPMS as soon as I have
third party packages that work.

Apologies,
Damion.
