Hello,
This can be caused by a number of problems, the one that springs to mind
is that the 'level' is being incorrectly set. To help me out further if
you could do the following:
Append the following to the vsd/svsd lines in x/inetd.conf: -p local6 -l
4
Restart x/inetd
Re-execute the vs_create command (the protocol sent & recieved will be
in syslog), and let me know the results.
Along with this, if you could let me know the output from the hostname
command, we can get this sorted. Oh, which version of the source are you
using, and what version of Linux is the bix running?
