Eddie,
Are you using the correct popauthd for the pop3 daemon you are using?
popauthd comes tweeked to work correctly with vm-pop3d, whereas if you wish
to use qpopper you need to rename popauthd.orig to popauthd (dont forget to
rename popauthd first incase you wish to use vm-pop3d in the future)
other things I can think of is that popauthd needs to be running as admin, or
nothing will work.
is popauthd running at all??
also can you cut and paste your /var/log/mailog, for a sucessful pop login
then we can get our heads around it!
