Log in as the user that apache runs under and see if you can access the
database.
Then check that whatever user the php logs in under has appropriate rights

Subject: WebAdmin
Hi
I have installed no problem 1.4.9 on Redhat 7.1 but am having trouble with
Webadmin.
A password box appears so Auth_Myql seems to be OK, I enter a username and
password and get:
an "Internet Server Error 500 warning"
If I look in the error log I get:
MySQL query failed: select passwd from siteusers where id='tony'
[Thu Jul 12 10:08:58 2001] [error] MySQL failure reason: No Database
Selected
To test the MySQL I just comment out of httpd.conf the "Auth_MySQL" section
so there is no authentication and the FreeVSD page comes up fine. If I
change the username
database name or password in dblib.phtml I get a MySQL connect error.
So my conclusion is MySQL and FreeVSD are correct.
Any ideas on what I have done wrong?
Thank you
Tony
