Have you done
setrights user +chrtftp
??
That should lock the user down to their home directory.

Is anyone else notice that proftpd is not chrooting people into there home
directories? This becomes a problem with the vsd's are not using shadow and
people can browse any files they want. Any suggestions are appreciated.
