I wanted to pass these on to this list, because I thought you guys (and gals) might be interested in these. These are feature requests from a client of mine. I might implement some of these on my hosting system ... but he's referring to actually seeing these from the control panel (on another machine -- accessing stuff via the API).
----------from client: Regarding things like ps -ef in the VSD control panel: It seems to me that a number of things would probably be handy from there. They could be implemented as fixed-syntax commands to prevent any security problems. There are several things that would probably be good. - ps command(s) - startup logs (something that would have shown my segfault) - Ability to view last n pages of the access and error logs Obviously, I can write some of this in PHP using the exec or back-tick functions, but that wouldn't work if my server was down for some reason.
