We don't claim DNS is in the default skel. What you are quoting are examples
of the sorts of services that _could_ be run in a virtual server. It is
impossible to provide an efficient skel that will suit everyone. The whole
point is for those providing hosting to _tailor_ the skel to suit their
individual needs. Ideally you should build your own skel from scratch, the
way you want it. Failing that, use a pre-built skel as a starting point and
add those packages to it you wish to see. eg.

rpm -ivh --root /home/vsd/skel/skel bind
rpm -ivh --root /home/vsd/skel/skel bind-utils

I would advise against placing DNS inside virtual servers unless you have
identified a way to reliably manage its configuration.
