After so many experimental installs, I hope the installation that I am doing at this time, be the last. Only to have the conscience in peace , I would like your opinion on some errors that I obtained now. Well, I get a machine, with a fresh RedHat 7.1 server install.
1) I installed the freevsd server (without errors): # rpm -ivh freevsd-1.4.9-2rh7.i386.rpm 2) Create the skel directory # mkdir -p /home/vsd/skel 3) Installed the freevsd packages rpm (without errors): # freevsd-pkgs-1.4.9-2rh7.i586.rpm 4) I executed the command for generate the skel locally: # vsd-genskel.pl * * * * * * * * * * * And .............. I had some errors: Please enter a name for this skel [default]: rh7 Generating skel on partition 0 Do you want to continue? Sincerely, what do you find? Note: the next command (vsd-install.pl) doesn't give any error.
