Good morning, Yes, you should change the .htaccess file... there is a document regarding this, but it hasnt made its way into the INSTALL.
Anyway quoting it below: Web Access. ----------- both phpMyAdmin and Webalizer have .htaccess files included with this release to prevent unauthorised access to them. I could tell you the preset password, but that would be opening up a security hole would'nt it? change the passwords like so; # bevs -r vsone # cd /home/httpd/docs/webalizer # htpasswd /etc/security/.htpasswd admin New password: Re-type new password: Updating password for user admin Repeat the process for phpMyAdmin.
