Hello, Do you mean the patched RPMs or the patch files provided to create the VSD patched RPMs?
If you're talking about the actual RPMs, then they just need to be placed in the directory pointed to by the $add_ons variable in [/usr/local]/etc/vsd/freevsd.conf before running vsd-genskel.pl. The script will install all packages into the skel from this directory. If you mean the actual .patch files used to create the RPMs that need to be installed into the skel, then I would strongly advise obtaining the latest versions from CVS. Once you've got the source, there is a README in there that explains how to use them. Once you've created the patched RPMs, just place them in the directory pointed to by the $add_ons variable and build your skel. Oh, and DO NOT install these packages onto the host box, they are designe to give the 'admin' user pseudo root priveledges, which isn't a very wise thing to have on the machine itself.
